Aim of the Day
The aim of the day is to match interested players with existing league teams. We will try to make sure you are introduced to teams that match your ability and location as well as the level of competition you are looking for.
No matter your skill level we have six divisions from recreational to competitive (i.e. beer with a little softball or softball with a little beer) so there are teams to match all abilities and objectives.
On the Day
Registration will be at 12.30pm, with a view to start the session proper at 1.00pm. We’ll do some warm up exercises and a few batting and fielding drills, followed by a friendly pick-up game.
Afterwards we go to a local pub for the social part. You’ll be able to meet and chat to players from the LSL looking for new recruits, and find out more about the league.
What to Wear/Bring
Please wear comfortable/warm clothes and suitable footwear (i.e. cleats, football boots, trail shoes, trainers…). We’ll provide the kit, but if you do have your own glove, bring it along!
