CALLING ALL NEW SOFTBALL PLAYERS
The London Softball League Slowpitch season will start in April and we are on the hunt for new players to join our league. This is designed for players whom already have some experience playing the sport and are looking for a team. Anyone new to the sport should look out for the 101 sessions beginning in May.
We will be hosting our annual New Players Day for players with recreational to competitive level experience at the brand-new indoor venue in Brent Cross, The 108 on Sunday 25th February.
Attendees will get to participate in fielding and hitting drills, in Europe’s only indoor softball facility, before moving to the bar to meet team captains and socialise. This event is open to players of all genders and abilities, and we will be running two sessions on the day.
1.00pm – 2.25pm
The first session will be for players with a minimum of 1 years playing experience who would prefer to play at a recreational level and is aiming to meet teams who play in divisions 4, 5 and 6.
2.35pm – 4.00pm
The second session will be for more experienced players who would prefer to play at a more competitive level and is aiming to meet teams who play in divisions 1, 2 and 3.
